State Games of the Carolinas
Baseball Championship Finals in the Queen City
This will be the first time in State
Games history that the "Queen City" will play host to the
Carolina's largest Olympic-style amateur sports festival! North
Carolina's largest city is home
to many of the state's greatest attractions. This impressive list
includes the United States
White White Center (US Olympic training facility), Time Warner Cable
Arena
(Charlotte Bobcats), Bank of America Stadium (Carolina Panthers),
Carowinds and
the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Teams will be seeded in the NC/SC State Games Championship based upon
their finish
in the invitational championship for the highest finishing four teams
from each event.
Other teams from invitational's will then be seeded as close as possible
to their finish in the
invitational tournament event. At-large teams will be seeded last
as an open team. This
allows us to evaluate and reward the teams that play in the NC/SC State
Games Invitational's
hosted this spring throughout NC/SC. Out of state teams will be
seeded as NC/SC teams.
